IACA’s Lion Dance Team-is well-recognized throughout the state of Indiana and receives requests throughout the year to perform at a variety of cultural and civic functions, including the Indy 500 Parade, the Carmelfest Independence Day parade, and the Indy International Festival.

IACA uses Chinese lion dance as a key platform to cultivate appreciation of Chinese cultural heritage and to enrich Indiana society by sharing and teaching this unique performing art form to Hoosiers of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities, both male and female.
Supported by an Art Grant from the City of Carmel, the team welcomes anyone regardless of age, gender or experience to join.
